General Information about PA SPARX Softball Teams

A PA SPARX Softball Team season runs from August 1st of a year to July 31st of a calander year.

From the months of August till December, team activity will mostly consist of tryouts, team building, few practices, clinics, individual workouts, individual instructional workouts, team play dates and other non official tournament game play.  We will not begin playing in tournaments till 2014.

We hope to play about 30 tournament games over the course of the year.

We are not a rec team.  We are a Travel Softball Team.  We will play in the best possible class tournaments, depending upon the relative talent level of our team.    If we are a C team we will try to get in C team tournaments where possible.  If we are an A or B class team we will attempt to play in those class tournaments when possible.

The Mission of PA SPARX Softball Teams is to offer it's players a good bite out of the "softball apple".
